The Massachusetts Department of Transportation, through MassRIDES, the statewide travel options program, and MassCommute, the Massachusetts Council of Transportation Management Associations (TMA), supports Massachusetts employers in their efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through decreased drive-alone trips while encouraging employees to travel to work by transit, carpools, vanpools, by bicycling or walking, or through support of telework programs.
Annually, MassDOT recognizes employer's efforts toward making a more sustainable Massachusetts at the Massachusetts Excellence in Commuter Options (ECO) Awards.
