SOMERS POINT – With help from the Jordan Road School Science Club, the city’s Green Team hopes to nurture community education about rain gardens.
Using a $10,000 grant from Sustainable Jersey, the city established a Green Team and began planning three rain gardens throughout the community: at John F. Kennedy Park, the Senior Center on Ambler Road and the courtyard at Jordan Road School.
