The green job training for these veterans is being conducted under a contract between the Kern County Employment Training Resource Department and the San Bernardino County Workforce Development Department, which will undertake the dual task of performing combined outreach and marketing efforts and will also offer case management services and job training to the county’s veterans until the end of June 2012, at of cost of what Nelson quotes as $643,500.
