Solar Farms in Florida to Create Green Jobs
National Solar Power, a Florida-based solar energy provider, recently announced a solar farm agreement with Liberty County, Florida. The 100 megawatt system will cost $350 million.
In November 2011, the company also brokered a deal with Hardee County to develop a 200 megawatt solar farm, the second it will have built in the Sunshine State, according to a press release.
National Solar Power had previously announced a similar project in Gadsden County, which is located in the Florida Panhandle. The solar farm in the central-Florida Hardee County will cost $700 million and was approved by the Hardee County Commission.
