In December 2007, the Mayor and City Council adopted the City’s
fi rst Sustainability Master Plan (SMP). The SMP is the City’s road
map to creating a sustainable City. It sets forth goals and long term
targets that will guide the City and community toward reducing
greenhouse gas emissions and promoting a greener path of doing
business and living.
