The LSU AgCenter has opened a new garden to help teachers create school gardens.

The Model School and Children's Garden is at the Burden Center in Baton Rouge, a 440-acre station where turfgrass, vegetable and fruit crops and ornamentals are evaluated for their growth in south Louisiana's heat and humidity.
