Fisherman’s Wharf has been around as long as the city; it currently attracts 10 million tourists a year. But for the first time since the Gold Rush days, it has a seafood restaurant that has been certified sustainable by the people who certify sustainable seafood.
Fog Harbor Fish House is the first Wharf restaurant to be part of the San Francisco Seafood Watch Alliance, which is spearheaded by Aquarium of the Bay, the Academy of Sciences and SF Zoo. The Alliance works in partnership with the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch program.
