Landscape For Life is a project of the United States Botanic Garden and the Lady Bird Johnson Wild­flower Center at The University of Texas at Austin.

Landscape For Life is based on the principles of SITES, The Sustainable Sites InitiativeTM, the nation’s first rating system for sustainable landscapes (www.sustainablesites.org), an interdisciplinary effort by the American Society of Landscape Architects, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center at The University of Texas at Austin, and the United States Botanic Garden in conjunction with a diverse group of stakeholder organizations. SITES offers technical tools for professionals who design, construct, operate, and maintain landscapes of all sizes.
